Philosophers have interpreted the world in various ways the point however is to change it.

Has the history ended?

Posted by philosophicmind on January 20, 2007

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, bourgeois philosophers and thinkers were ebullient to celebrate the so called failure of communism and eternal triumph of capitalism world wide.
Articles got written, lectures were given and slogan chanted all claiming that since now scientific socialism belongs to the past and only could be found in history books.
It was also alleged that collapse of the Soviet Union is a proof, emphasizing that scientific socialism is not applicable and is doomed to fail.
For the socialists it is clear that soviet union was not representative of true communism so its` collapse has nothing to do with failure of Marxism but it was another insisting on the eligibility of Marxism way of interpretation of the world; where we can find in the writings of Marxist philosophers that, communism without democracy is nothing and communism can not survive in one country for long time and without a global annihilation of capitalistic relations, will loose.
However when we take a closer look into the former Soviet Union , find out that ruling Stalinists in Kremlin were far away from Marxist ideals and were applying everything in action but the true communism.
The high rate of corruption among soviet politicians and their rush for giving back the Russia to the hands of capitalism are few signs of their infidelity to the idea of communism.
Neither soviets were ideal communists, nor has the capitalism done anything to solve its fundamental crisis and internal contradictions, so let’s put a false on the allegation of bourgeois thinkers and say: Marxism has not failed.
Theory of the end of history was first announced by Francis Fukoyama an American expert of political economics. According to his view, during the cold war the world was a battlefield for confrontation of two major schools of thinking; capitalism and Marxism and process of everything which was taking place all around the planet less or more was affected by the struggle of these two ideas, including wars, revolutions, regime changes and any violence and brutality was referred to the consequences of everlasting conflict of capitalism and communism.
It is necessary to underline that in this interpretation the just side was imperialists and communists were criminals which innocent capitalist were trying to eliminate them and making the world a better place!
After the collapse of the Soviet Union this confrontation was over (world without communist regimes become a safer place!) and everything was ready to establish an everlasting era of peace for the human kind under the commandership of western imperialism because the source of all violence and wars (communism) had seized to exist so peace lover capitalists could carry out their goal for realizing the heaven like conditions for humans.!
This situation meant that human history from one hand won’t see any major war as has had before and won’t have any other ideology to confront with capitalism from other hand because the only foe of it (Marxism) has been destroyed.
More than fifteen years have gone, and today’s world is full of wars, genocides and crimes all committed by capitalists all around the world.
Iraq, Kosovo, Sudan, Rwanda, Middle East and lots of other places of the globe are burning in the flames which imperialism has ignited to ensure the safety of its interests.
Nowadays, even the risk of a devastating nuclear war is much more serious comparing with the cold war era. By a simple study it would be clear that irresponsible countries have gained the atomic technology and have or trying to attain the nuclear weapons as well. Any wise man or woman can easily guess what the outcome will be.
The only conclusion we can take is the expansion of vulgarism and ignorance in the international relations and within individuals` minds as the result of utilitarianistic policy pursued by imperialists.
Despite these, maybe from one aspect the theory of the end of history could be correct and that is the lack of a genuine internationalist Marxist movement for confronting and struggling with capitalism.
A revolutionary tendency is needed in order to put an end to the hideous reign of capital over the destiny of human kind. Without organized and ambitious revolutionary socialist parties, the mankind won’t have any hope to terminate its miseries and unjust social and economical dilemmas caused by money centered values and rules.
This statement should not be considered as a pessimistic expression but it is a warning for those who feel a responsibility towards the survival of humanity and its` achievements threatened by warmonger bourgeoisie. Unfortunately these days such a party or movement is either rare or weak and is not ready to play its historical role in annihilation of capitalism.
Chanting slogan in defense of scientific socialism is not enough and swinging into action is needed.
The key issue in such action is to the enlightenment of the masses however it is possible. People are lacking a clear view over the real relations that exist all around them the media are inputting the false information in the peoples` brains and show them a disguised view of the reality. Masses must find out the brutality and at the same time the hypocrisy of class society, the ways which bourgeoisie uses to make a justified explanation out of its selfish and destructive aims. Bourgeoisie uses the ignorance of the masses as a tool for cheating and repressing them.
The information means as the weapon of capitalism should be used against it, articles must get written, lectures have to be given and booklets should be distributed all disclosing the harms of class society and pointing out the incompetence of imperialism.
Once the enlightenment is completed and alienation is replaced by wisdom and self-confidence among the masses, then, the basic foundation for establishment of true socialism would be ready; the democracy. Individuals can make a correct choice when they have got a clear and correct perspective over the entire issues.
Socialism must be the choice of societies in order to show its expected function. In this regard democracy is the only way to ensure such a free choice.
These are my suggestions for empowerment of scientific socialism as the only alternative for the imperialism and hope that anyone who reads this article can benefit them.
All socialists believe that dialectic never stops and every thesis has its anti-thesis, imperialism is not everlasting and humankind will witness its deterioration and glorious triumph of true socialism.
History has not ended, break the blockade of the minds and see the flood like movement of awakened humans trying to build up a world of their own.

Middle East and socialism

Posted by philosophicmind on January 16, 2007

Countries which are located in Middle East show almost a different type of economic situation comparing with the majority states of the globe.
The major distinguishing factor in these countries` economy is the petrol dollars that are attained most of the times by exporting the crude oil almost without any kind of processing.
Over one third of the world’s oil and gas reservoirs is located in middle eastern countries and though these countries are expected to be very rich.
The fact is the total income of these states are very high but the overall economic condition of the nations ruled by oil producing states is not satisfactory , the rates of joblessness, public poverty , lack of cheep healthcare are as low as poor countries located in the other parts of the world.
These situations are the obvious signs of the brutal reign of capitalism over the whole region.
But in reverse of anywhere else, almost there is no basic economical unrest in the countries like: Iran, Saudi Arabia and Arab states of the Persian Gulf.
In the absence of industrial production, it won’t be any working class and it could be seen that the largest importers of industrial and agricultural productions of the entire world regarding the population, are the middle easterns.
While a community is just consumer, the class gap won’t have any meaning but a natural situation because no one really produces.
This is exactly the fact that Carl Marx mentioned in his early works, the revolutionary role of capitalism in organizing the working forces for mass production.
The centralization of capital and production tools divides the society into two major classes ; first those who own the capital and the tools and second; those who do not possesses capital or tools and though for continuing their survival sell the only thing they have, their work.
This situation is almost absent in middle east because the majority of the necessary goods and productions which are vital for the society are imported by the money which no one has worked for it ; petrol-dollars.
As mentioned capitalism in its early stages has a positive and revolutionary application , it abolishes the neo feudal relations within society and clusters the all productive forces in one clear objective which is production for collecting the profit.
The attitude of producing not for satisfying humans` needs but for personal interest is the main element which has made a hideous function out of capitalism.
So the capitalism which has focused on industrial production leads to class division inside the society and paves the way for formation of working class.
As its visible, there is no working class in oil exporting countries because these societies are mere consumers and have no dependence on inland productive forces.
Accumulation of useless capital in these countries has several effects that some are as follow:
-high rate of financial disorder
-financial and political corruption
-militarism
-oligarchy over society
-expansion of superstitions and extremism.
- Competition among nationals for getting control of non productive means.
-decline of ethics.
-deterioration of family values.

The conclusion which could be gained from this situation is that, for the oil exporting societies, socialism is a word of aliens because the majority of these nations have a parasite –like life out of non productive actions rooted in oil wells.
Although, in some of these countries the presence of a tiny working class could be sensed but in fact, this working class is at the absolute minority and can’t play any important role in the outcome of political changes and never can lead towards socialism.
The premier necessity in the way of socialism is democracy .without it the phenomena which could exist is nothing more than despotism which is strongly rejected by the founders of scientific socialism.
It is not reasonable to expect the formation of a socialist movement in the Middle Eastern countries although there is no sign for this formation at the time being.
It’s expected that the social deterioration in the oil exporting countries (corruption and extremism) grow much faster than the past and affect all neighboring and near countries as well.
And when these two elements come to a determined level of maturity, then barbarism would be inevitable.
Blood shed and nonsense wars are on the way for Middle East as a result of the unjust and parasite-like way of living which these countries have chosen.
